Balance your hormones naturally

Balance Your Hormones Naturally to Be Healthier and Feel Better

Deficiencies, excesses, and fluctuations in hormones can cause changes in your physical body, mind, and emotions. When you balance your hormones naturally, you can think clearly, sleep well, feel good, become emotionally steady, and have better chances of staying healthy. If your hormones are not in balance, there are several symptoms that might arise, such as rage, low energy, weight gain, depression, fibroids, hair loss, loss of sexual drive, and even cancer.

To keep your hormones in check, here are several ways you can follow for you to feel better and stay healthier:

Get a Good Night’s Sleep

Sleep is the best time when your body recovers from the imbalances it suffered during the day. When you lack enough sleep, your hormones swing to overdrive. Make sure you get at least  8 hours of good sleep each night.

Reduce Your Stress Levels

Studies revealed that people who engage daily yoga or meditation have lesser hormonal swings compared to those who don’t meditate stress in any way. Also, it is important to get enough rest. Most people today have hectic schedules that their body has very little time to readjust from the demands of life. It can disrupt the body’s natural hormones cycle. Look for small ways to relax and rest all day long.

Follow a Healthy Diet

Add more fresh and organic vegetables and fruits to your diet together with more seeds and raw nuts. Foods like processed carbohydrates, soft drinks, fried foods, processed vegetable oil, soy products, and enriched flour can all affect hormonal balance. Stay away from non-organic dairy items that often contain dangerous bovine growth hormones, antibiotics, and steroids. All of these can wreak havoc on your body.

Add Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Such fats act to produce healthy and responsive cell membranes that allow hormones to easily adhere to cells. Omega 3 fatty acids can also help your body in keeping its cellular receptor sites in optimal condition and repaired. You can try to eat foods that contain omega 3 or you can also take 500 mg of organic oil of high quality such as olive, flaxseed, or hempseed oil.

Forget Caffeine

It has been revealed that stimulants like caffeine can lead to over production of hormones in the adrenal gland. Try to cut out or cut down your daily caffeine intake.

Get a Dose of Sunshine

You will be able to stabilize hormones when you give your body a good amount of full spectrum light from the sun. I know we dont get much sun here in Britain but take advantage when the sun decides to make an experience by taking a stroll whenever possible. It can help you get your much needed exercise and the sunshine needed by your body.

Exercise Regularly

Make sure you incorporate a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise thrice a week to your routine. Create a schedule that you will be able to follow on a regular basis.
